Khai Dinh Tomb is located in Thuy Bang Commune, Huong Thuy District, Thua Thien Hue Province in Chau Chu Mountain, about 10km from the center.

Khai Dinh Tomb was started construction on September 4, 1920, and the longest construction period of all Hue mausoleums was 11 years, built by the Pre-Army Governor Le Van Ba.
